We head towards our first travel destination by visiting the most iconic metropolis in the world, it’s technologies have shaped the way we all live and operate. This place is home to the worlds most used products, such as cars, tv’s, smartphones, manufactured by the worlds most prestigious brands such as, Samsung, Kia, LG, Hyundai and a lot more. Seoul is a bustling city that not only holds a strong presence in Asia but also in the rest of the world. To date, this influence is largely due to Seoul’s cutting-edge technology, a strong economy, and vibrant culture. Here are the top places that we visited while we were in seoul.
Dongdaemun Market & Eating A Live Squid :
Located in the heart of Seoul, South Korea, Dongdaemun Market is a bustling shopping district that captures the essence of the city’s vibrant fashion and shopping scene. With its array of shops, markets, and malls, Dongdaemun Market has become a mecca for fashion enthusiasts, bargain hunters, and those seeking a taste of Korean street culture. It is a paradise for shopaholics, offering a wide range of shopping options to suit every taste and budget. From small boutiques to sprawling shopping complexes, the market is home to thousands of shops selling everything from trendy clothing, shoes, and accessories to fabrics, crafts, and electronics. When it comes to culinary adventures, few experiences are as intriguing and unconventional as eating a live squid. This daring practice, predominantly found in certain regions of East Asia, offers a thrilling gastronomic experience that pushes the boundaries of culinary exploration. The Michelin guide restaurant :
The Michelin Guide is widely regarded as the ultimate authority in the culinary world, bestowing prestigious stars upon restaurants that showcase exceptional culinary craftsmanship. For food enthusiasts and connoisseurs, dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant is a truly remarkable experience. The restaurant covers a wide range of cuisines, ensuring that there is something to suit every palate. From French haute cuisine to Japanese sushi, from Italian trattorias to avant-garde fusion, the guide celebrates culinary diversity and excellence worldwide. Upon entering, we wanted to try something local, so the waiter suggested we start with the savory Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup. This traditional dish, also known as Samgyetang, combines tender chicken, aromatic ginseng, and a medley of wholesome ingredients to create a hearty and rejuvenating soup. The soup was not only a delicious meal but also a nourishing elixir for the body. Ginseng, a prized medicinal herb in Korean culture, is believed to have various health benefits.
It is said to boost immunity, improve circulation, enhance cognitive function, and provide an overall sense of well-being. Combined with the nourishing properties of chicken and a variety of other ingredients, this soup is considered a fortifying dish that promotes health and vitality. After the soup, we ordered a delicious fried chicken which was considered as a star dish at the restaurant. Its crispy perfection, succulent meat, and tantalizing flavors, held a special place in our hearts.
Lotte Department store :

With its luxurious ambiance, wide range of high-quality products, and exceptional customer service, Lotte Department Store offers an unforgettable shopping experience. The store exudes an air of luxury and elegance, making it a favorite among fashion enthusiasts and discerning shoppers. The store’s refined interior design, complete with polished marble floors, stylish displays, and upscale boutiques, creates a sophisticated atmosphere that sets it apart. From designer fashion brands to high-end cosmetics and accessories, Lotte Department Store curates an exclusive collection of products that cater to the most refined tastes. Throughout the year, the streets come alive with vibrant performances, street musicians, and dance troupes showcasing their talents.
